The World of Lore is a text based RPG which takes place in medieval times. It is set in the fictional World of Lore. In this world, there is a large sea to the south, a huge forest to the west, a great stretch of very flat plain to the east, and a mountain range so tall it pierces even the tallest clouds to the north. In the middle of it all is the colony of Crossroads (very creative name, huh?). Crossroads is a large colony, full of many interesting personalities. One of the greatest being Leroy Ridran, the famed adventurer, and renowned lunatic. He will do anything for a bit of glory. Make sure to check out the "Leroy's Adventure's" forum, for a bit of fun. That, or you might get killed helping him. Good luck! Also, in TWOL (The World of Lore), you can purchase a small house to live and role-play in. Just head on over to the "Housing" section, to buy, or visit a house. You ca also get a job, and work in the "Work" forum (once you have selected your job). One more thing! The most important thing you MUST do when you start this game, is go to your profile, and click on Character Profile. Fill in all of the form, and you are ready to role-play in The World of Lore!

Another interesting part of this game is the Guardians. These select users have been playing for a long time, and are designated to be the defenders and protectors of the entire land. To become a Guardian you must reach over 175 posts on this forum! Then head right over to the Guardian Only forum area, and post along with other Guardians of the realm. In this special area, you can find new quests, new areas, and even new personalities. So, post, post, and keep posting. Eventually you'll make it!
