His Majesty Veranon had one day been sitting in his chambers, when a peculiar thing happened. Something small. Yet something big. While sitting happily on His head, the great Crown of Lore disappeared. Right off his head. Instead, on his head, there was a note saying that the corwn was somewhere in his vast palace. But where?

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion saw a sign on the palace gates saying the crown was missing and they needed searchers. Orion went inside and waited for someone to come and tell him what he was to do.

[Leroy Ridran]

A small man ran up to Orion. "What do you need sir?" The man said in a squealy voice.

[Orion Flame-eye]

" Well, I heard there was going to be a search of the King's lost crown. I wish to help."

[Draylon Redtip]

"Lost crown? Dang, I'd like to shake the hand of the lucky B****d who pulled that stunt. Then rip it off, because I've been planning a heist like that for a long time." Draylon muttered to himself, and walked towards the gate and Orion. "Hello, Orion. What are you doing here?" Trying to find the lost crown Draylon thought.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Oh good. The King will need to talk to you. Right this way pleas." The little man starts off down a corridor.

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion followed behind the man and waved to Draylon.

[Draylon Redtip]

Draylon followed. Without asking, he knew there would be a cash reward, and it would help his reputation with Leroy Ridran, the lunatic guardian.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Please enter into this room." The little man said, and opened a door.He purposefully stuck his foot out in front of them, so as to trip them.

OOC: If it doesn't hurt your pride too much, please let yourself be tripped. It is an important plot element.

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion had stepped directly on the man's foot and tripped. There was a crunching sound. " Oops.." He said, lying on the ground.

[Draylon Redtip]

Draylon saw Orion fall. He stepped over, very carefully. He walked into the room.

Orion got up. " Why did you trip me for?"

[Leroy Ridran]

"Never you mind. Enter the room. NOW! Or I will hurt you!"

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion walked one step into the room. " Okay I'm in."

[Leroy Ridran]

"And you will address me as your majesty!" The little man said.

[Orion Flame-eye]

" Okay.... Your majesty..."

OOC- I BET HE IS THE KING

[Leroy Ridran]

OOC: I BET YOUR RIGHT!

"Good now." The little man snapped his fingers, and he changed shape. He became the figure that many knew to be the King. "Let us discuss the crown."

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion watched the transformation. " Yes, let us discuss this. Where did you last see it?"

[Leroy Ridran]

"It was sitting atop my head, when suddenly it vanished into thin air!"

[Orion Flame-eye]

" Were you in this room? May you show me where you were when it vanished?"

[Leroy Ridran]

"Sure, why not." The King said, and walked up to his throne. He sat down. "I was right here when it vanished."

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion took out a stone and wrapped it in cloth and started pushing it all over the throne. " I'm checking to make sure that there were no hidden holes in the throne."

[Leroy Ridran]

"Good idea, but I am sure there aren't."

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion nodded and put his arm onto the throne, to his supprise, his hand went right through. He took it out, there was no hole. Orion took the cloth and pushed at the spot, it was solid. " What we have here is magic. A magician or spellcaster casted a spell so only skin can go through it. Thats why when I put the cloth its solid, but when I put my hand, it goes right through."

"Odd indeed. And yet, the crown is solid, so how did it go through?"
