OOC: I won't be able to finish or even do very much today because I have to get off soon but...

BIC:

DAY 1:

Nathan sat on the edge of town, looking over the surrounding country side. Spying a boulder some distance away, Nathan went to inspect it. The boulder was about 10 feet tall and 10 feet in diameter. Deciding this was as good as any place, Nathan searched around till he found what he was looking for, a large thin, and sharp peice of rock. Using the rock as a shovel Nathan scooped away the dirt and grass around one side of the rock, creating a bare spot about five feet out from the boulder and seven feet to each side. Getting off his knees Nathan stomped on the dirt awhile to pound it down. After finishing stomping, he cleared the loose dirt from the bare spot, then curled up to go to sleep as the sun started disappearing behind the huge forest.

(I'll finish later)

(It isn't gonna be very big)

DAY 2:

The next day Nathan woke early and got straight back to work on his house. He wandered through the forest, finding and bringing back many large stones. By the time he had hauled the last large stone to the house spot, it was midday. Nathan stopped for a quick meal that he purchased from a salesman in town, then returned to continue working. He used three large flat slabs to cover the floor, then arranged some more stones around the boarder of the house, creating a stone floor and a small stone wall. Nathan decided to stop for the day and went into town to steal a supper, before returning to his house for the night.

DAY 3:

The next day, Nathan got up later than normal, tired after yesterdays hard work. When he had eaten some berries for breakfast, he set off again into the woods to collect some poles. He found twelve large poles, each about eight feet high. The rest of the day he spent busily carving the bark off and trimming the twigs to make the walls of his house.

DAY 4:

Nathan got up early again and started lodging the poles he had made yesterday into cracks between the stones in his wall.

After completing this step Nathan went into the woods again to find his next building material: vines. Using the vines he had just found Nathan tied the rest of the poles horizontally to the vertical poles, creating a rough framework. Next Nathan found some more poles and used them, tied into a crisscross patteren, as the roof, which he tied to the top of his hut.

DAY 5:

The next day Nathan went deep into the woods, collecting tons of pine branchs and hauling them back out to the boulder. By the time he had enough it was dusk.

DAY 6:

Nathan woke early and continued work on his hut. Using the pine branches collected the former day, Nathan started adding the walls to his hut. He half tied half wove the branches into the framework of the house, creating solid walls. When he finish the tedious task of weaving the walls, Nathan took a nap. Later that day when he woke up Nathan did one of the hardest tasks, creating the roof. After several miserable atempts at doing it, Nathan decided to take the only sensible course of action. He angerly cut the vines holding the roof on and lowered it to the ground, mad at himnself for not thinking of this before putting the roof up. Nathan tied the branches to the roof, then slid it back up and tied it on again.

DAY 7:

The following day Nathan built a make do bucket out of bark and vine, then went to a place he knew he could find this wierd mud that was waterproof. He wasn't sure what it was called, but he dd know it was waterproof. Using this mud he made his hut water proof by spreading the mud over the roof and outsides of the walls.
