The Founding of Crossroads

The wind swept the land, as the carriage came rolling down the dirt road. They stopped when they reached a small signpost, which read a different place for each direction. They looked around, and saw paths leading every which way. A man came out of the carriage, and surveyed the area. A shining crown sat upon his head. "This is it. This is where the town is to be founded. And I will name it...Crossroads." That man was King Veranon the First. Now, Crossroads is under the rule of King Veranon the 8th. A castle was built not far from that small, swaying signpost. And the rest, as they say, was history.
