Welcome to the Golden Lion Tavern

[Leroy Ridran]

Svelnar the bartender paced back and forth behind the bar, waiting for someone to pass through the doors of the Golden Lion Tavern. Tavern was pretty normal, in shape, and size. A bar to the right of the door, a few tables to the left. The room was lit purely by uncovered candles, one on each table, and a few at the bar. All in all, the room could get a bit spooky at times. Many random shadows were cast by the strangest things in the strangest places. For example, a drunk adventurer once stabbed the wall with a sword when he saw the shadow of the bubbles from a tankard of ale. The thing which gave the Golden Lion it's name was the small, solid gold lion sitting in the middle of the bar. It sat there in a place of honor, it was handcrafted, and had only one flaw. One of it's paws had only 3 toes. Practically everyone who entered noticed it. But lately, business had been very slow. So, Svelnar had had a lot of free time. He had spent most of it cleaning the tavern. It was the cleanest it had ever been. He paced some more, waiting for the old door to creak open.

[Orion Flame-eye]

The old door did creak open, Orion walked in, his shoes making a small noise on the wooden floor. Orion didn't go to the bar, instead went to a table. He put his finger on the candle wick for a few seconds and then put the finger on his forehead.

[Leroy Ridran]

Svelnar was a little surprised by this act, but was used to strange things. "Can I help you newcomer?" Svelnar said, for he had never seen him before. He hoped that the man would introduce himself, instead of burning himself again.

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion walked up to the bar. " I'm Orion. May I have some of the white wine over there?" Orion gestured to the glass.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Why yes, you may. But first you have to tell me why you went along there an' burned 'urself. I' does seem a tad odd. But maybe I be just behind yeh times." Svelnar used quite an accent. Although, it didn't seem completely consistent. Odd. Very odd.

[Orion Flame-eye]

" Well, my hands are slowly coming fire resistant." Orion waved his finger over a candle wick without flinching.

OOC- Can Orion be a Warrior and a not so good mage?

[Leroy Ridran]

OOC: Yes, but not "Officially". So it really has to be a small thing, he can't, you know, win all his battles with mage.

"Wow. Impressive lad. I 'ever seen anyting like tat before, not in me entire loife." Still with the uneven accent. Odd. Very odd.

[Orion Flame-eye]

" Im learning the element of fire, but very slowly." Orion waited for his glass of wine. " Hmm... I've never heard that odd accent before. Where do you come from?"

[Leroy Ridran]

"I be comin from yeh far South. Over thee sea, and yonder across many hills and forests. It be a land by yeh name of...Azcanon." Svelnar said. That should justify the accent, he was sure.

[Orion Flame-eye]

" I see... May I have my wine now. I've answered your question and I'm thirsty."

[Leroy Ridran]

"Alright." Svelnar gave him a glass of wine.

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion took it and drank it in one big gulp. " Thanks for the wine." Orion said and went outside. Once outside he used magic to make a ball of fire above the burnt finger and he blew on it. Since wine had alchohol it caused a flame thrower-like wave of fire.

[Leroy Ridran]

Seeing the flash through a small window, Svelnar said "Hey! Be careful as to not alight this 'ere entire buildin'!"

[Orion Flame-eye]

" Sorry about that.." Orion said and went home.

[Draylon Redtip]

"Hello, bartender. Does thoust happen to own any birchroot ale?" Draylon asked, as he wandered in. He trod casually to the bar, and sat himself down in one of the seats.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Why yes we do, newcomer." Svelnar grins.

[Draylon Redtip]

"Thankee, sir. May I please have some?" Draylon asked.

[Leroy Ridran]

"No, you can't." Svelnar says, still grinning.

[Nathan Kulhmer]

Nathan walked in and sat at one of the tables, arranging himself so he was barely visible, than watched the scene at the bar.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Look young fella', that wine is for people who I am positive won' go and steal somethin'. And I be afraid you look as if you are just that kinda guy. Get out a my tavern." Svelnar said, now looking grim.

[Draylon Redtip]

"Do I hear a threat, an insult, or a challenge?" Draylon jumped up, and drew his dagger. He grabbed a wooden chair in his other hand, and threw it at the counter.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Actually, you are about to here me call the Guardians if you do not leave." Svelnar said calmly.

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion came back when he heard the sound of wood smashing. Orion pushed open the doors. " Sooo What did I miss?"

[Nathan Kulhmer]

Nathan took it on himself to answer.

"I'll tell you, seeing as these two would probably tell a bunch of lies. Draylon came in and asked for a drink, the bartender refused. Then he went on to explain that he thought Draylon looked like someone who would steal, and told him to get out of his tavern. Draylon got mad, and smashed a chair."

[Orion Flame-eye]

" I see..." Orion replied and sat on a chair. He set his fingertips on fire. " Draylon, cut it out, or else." Orion said as the flames rose and made a ball in mid air.

OOC- Its not gonna kill Draylon or anything because the flames are very weak from the candle.
