The Hunt for Tenaron

"Where does that bookcase go?"

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion studied the bookshelf. " Theres the exact same bookshelf down in the hall, I remember seeing a faint crack in the middle, same as this one." Orion stepped into the tunnel and started moving swiftly.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Then maybe they both just connect. Or connect to the same thing..." Leroy followed Orion into the tunnel behind the bookcase.

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion walked through the pitch black tunnel, until he walked into the wall. He stumbled back, his hand on his head as he fell. " Ouch, to dark in here..." Orion shot out the orb of flame, the tunnel had come to a dead end. In his frustration, Orion kicked the wall so hard that it collasped. " Oh..." Orion continued on, fire orb in front.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Errr, Orion. Do you think we were supposed to do that?"

[Orion Flame-eye]

" Hmm, well, if you look at that pile, you should notice a small door knob. Theres very very very thin wood in the center, caked with mud." Orion kept going, in front of him was two paths. One leading into the great hall, the other leading outside, but still inside the walls of the fortress.

[Leroy Ridran]

"I say we take the outside path, and look for a trail once we get there."

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion nodded and went down the outside path, he turned the door knob and looked outside. It had been raining recently, and the ground was muddy. " Well, its our lucky day." Orion followed the single tracks of Tenaron's armored boots.

[Leroy Ridran]

"GOOD, good!" Leroy shouted, and began to follow Orion.

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion followed the tracks, his boots squishing in the mud.

[Leroy Ridran]

There was a loud thunder clap from above, and it began drizzling. A voice startled Leroy. Go faster! Soon the footprints will be washed away! Leroy thought about this statement, wondering why Orion hadn't heard it. But after a few seconds, he realized that this voice was right and that they needed to go faster. "Orion, let us pick up the pace, for the footprints will be gone soon!"

[Orion Flame-eye]

Suddenly, Orion ran turned to the left and ran up the wall steps. He ran along the wall. " Quick, Leroy! There he is, over there, running along the path!" Orion leaped off the wall and landed in the mud. He tried to move his feet but the mud held them in. Orion casted a spell to make the mud harden and the mud under him hardened, so Orion was free. He continued running. " Quick Leroy, hurry and jump!"

[Leroy Ridran]

Leroy jumped. It was a quick but nice sensation before he hit the ground. "Tenaron, stop right there!"

[Orion Flame-eye]

" And why would I do that? GAURDIANS! ATTACK!" Orion and Leroy were instantly surrounded by Tenaron's followers. " This looks bad, very bad." Orion blasted one into a tree with a strong blast of fire, which set the tree on fire, and it toppled onto the gaurdian, slaying him instantly.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Very nice Orion." Leroy said simply and pulled out his sword. "LEEEEEEERRRRROOOOOOY!" Leroy shouted, and jumped into the fray.

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion stayed at the back, he cast Leroy's sword's blade in fire so it added strength to the blade and Orion covered Leroy's back to make sure there weren't any attackers.

Leroy cut down a guardian, and then another. He felt a pang of guilt. These used to be his followers. But Tenaron had run away. Far away.
