A Secret Meeting (Sir. Ridran)

[Leroy Ridran]

Sir. Ridran has called a secret meeting of all who are siding with him in the war. Before you post here, make sure you are on his side (your side can be set in the profile) and if you aren't, then visit Tenaron's meeting instead.

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion made sure all his gaurdian armor was cleaned as he walked into the room which the meeting was being held in. Orion sat in the seat saying, ORION. Orion put his sword onto a sword holding thing at the back of his chair and waited.

[Leroy Ridran]

Sir. Ridran entered the room not wearing his normal armor. His new metal plates were now colored shining black, with silver trim. His head was not adorned with a helmet though, and his blond hair was combed handsomely. He sat down at the head of the table, in a large seat. "Hello Orion, you're the first one here." Sir. Ridran said to Orion. He settled into it, and opened a large black book with browned pages which was sitting in front of him. Then he started reading.

[Orion Flame-eye]

" Nice armor. Pheww It's hot in all this armor here." Orion took off the bulky suit, wearing an inner thinner metal suit of armor which was lighter but just as strong and was lined with gold,white and black. Orion took out his gaurdian rule and training book and started reading it since he was a new gaurdian.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Orion, by the way, I hope you realize that most of the Guardian order is now under the command on Tenaron. You are one of the very few Guardians who has decided to side with me.I also hope you realize the danger that this put us in. With most of the Guardians behind him, he is very powerful." Leroy said all this, and the his eyes returned to the book. He slowly tuned the worn pages, one about every minute. There was a knock on the door. "Who goes there?" questioned Leroy in a loud, powerful voice. "A friend!" Shouted someone from the other side. Leroy stepped out of his chair, closing the book. The cover was adorned with calligraphy letters spelling out the word "Lore." Leroy came to the door, and swung it open.

When the door opened, Leroy was thrown backward by the force of the door swinging. He could here the sound of swords being drawn, and quickly tried to unsheathe his. Three armored Guardians spilled into the room, swords drawn. They swung the bright Guardian blade straight and true towards Leroy's throat, but he parried the blow with his own blade. Quickly, another blow came to his side, and he barely blocked it." "Orion, get your armor on and get over here!" Leroy shouted before returning to the battle. He struggled, trying to get on the offensive. The Guardians were to strong, and finally had him pinned with all three swords in the corner. "Now would be a good time to help Orion." Leroy said, but the Guardians were ahead of him. One of them threatened Orion now with a blade. Then another Guardian, it was Tenaron, walked calmly into the room. He walked to where Leroy had been sitting, and picked up the book. He then strolled out without a word. And with that, the other Guardians left as well.

[Orion Flame-eye]

As the last gaurdian left the room Orion flung his helmet straight at his head. It hit the gaurdian's head with such a force it had dented his helmet and sent the gaurdian falling into the others. " Are you okay Leroy?" Orion closed the door and locked it.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Orion, I am fine, but they took the book! They have stolen the most powerful artifact in the world! They have taken the Book of Lore!"

OOC: Actually, The Book of Lore was my old RPG. It was the prelude to this one. You can look at it, but don't bother posting, at createforum.com/thebookoflore. It was kinda stupid. A lot less user freedom. TWOL is a whole lot better.

[Orion Flame-eye]

" We better get it back. We need to wait for the rest of our gaurdians." Orion sat in his chair. The clock ticked, it had been an hour, the meeting was supposed to have started a hour ago. " Theres no one?" Orion opened the door to see five slaughtered gaurdians in the hall. " Erm All the gaurdians are dead."

[Leroy Ridran]

"Oh dear."

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion shrugged off his armor until he was wearing only a light flexible chainmail vest and tunic. " Lets do this Draylon style!!!" Puts on mask and walked out room, staying to the shadows.

[Leroy Ridran]

Leroy stood next to Orion, and asked. "What is your plan for recovering the book if we have no idea where it is?"

[Orion Flame-eye]

Orion pointed to a room next to theirs, it read TENARON'S ROOM. " Maybe in there?" Orion silently opened it. Tenaron is alone at his desk, busily pouring over the words. Orion grabbed a broomstick from out of a closet and moved silently until he was behind the gaurdian. He brought the broomstick over his head and brought it down onto Tenaron's. The broom stick cracked and Tenaron fell unconcious from the blow. Orion tugged the book from under Tenaron's head and turned around to see the door was closed and two gaurdians stood gaurding it. Leroy was on the other side of the door. Drawing his sword, he charged into battle with the gaurdians. Using the small space to his advantage, Orion grabbed a chair from behind him and flung it at the nearest gaurdian. The chair smashed in a cloud of splinters, woodchips and dust on the gaurdian's helmet. The last thing that gaurdian saw was Orion's flashing blade over the helmet.

There was a clang as the other gaurdian's sword bounced off his new gaurdian armor, leaving a dent. Orion whirled around and parried another blow, they fought, slash for slash, parry for parry. Until Orion lowered his sword and gasped for breath. The gaurdian, thinking he was triumphant over Orion, threw off his armor and laughed aloud. It was the wrong move as Orion staggered forward and suddenly thrust his sword upward, it stabbed into the gaurdian's chest. The gaurdian fought back and he swung his sword, it hit through a gap in the armor of his foot and he fell back, raising the sword higher as he fell. Orion managed to pull the sword free and smash the door with it. " There we go."

OOC- Didnt expect this much.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Ack." Grunted Leroy when he saw what had happened. "Orion, could you use some help?"

[Orion Flame-eye]

" I should be fine. Orion leaned on his sword and got up. " What are we going to do with him?" Orion asked, throwing off his mask and pointing at the slumpped figure of Tenaron.

[Leroy Ridran]

"Well, the smart thing would be to kill him right now." Leroy said, and walked forward. Then he stopped. "Orion, don't go any farther towards him!" Leroy shouted. Right in front of him were small holes in the floor. Arrow holes. This had all been a trap.

[Orion Flame-eye]

OOC- So they are shooting arrows from holes in the ground?

BIC- " Hold on, let me think. The room right under this is the archery range. I'll go down there and you stay here, make as much noise so I can get out and backstab them." Orion silently left the room and made his way down the stairs.

[Leroy Ridran]

Leroy started making noise, but then realized the flaw in that plan. It might wake Tenaron. So, he did the next best thing for a diversion. He took off one of his big boots, and slapped it down on one of the holes. An arrow shot it up. That arrow must have been going pretty fast. A whole flight of them came up out of each hole then. Leroy hoped Orion would kill them right now.

[Orion Flame-eye]

There was five seconds of silence and then fire shot out from all the holes. A minute later, Orion appeared at the doorway. " Okay then, those weren't gaurdians. Just archers Tenaron hired."

[Leroy Ridran]

Though s-" Leroy stopped. Tenaron was gone!

[Orion Flame-eye]

" Hpmhh I knew there was something fishy about that bookshelf." Orion said to no one in particular as he sliced the shelf in half, revealing a secret passage, right next to where Tenaron was sitting. " On ward, to Tenaron!"

OOC: Good idea. It will be in the Ancient Battlegrounds. Or should it be in the fortress?

OOC- Fortress I guess, we shall chase him in the fortress.

BIC- " Well than, its time to find Tenaron!"
